Well done to our 10 combined Dungarvan/Carrick/Thurles girls who played in Saturdays challenge match against the Youghal/Midleton u14s team. This was the first youth game for Dungarvan RFC and they played with such enthusiasm and spirit. Although we lost by 8 tries to 4 , they put in a fantastic effort. A special thank you to our teammates from Carrick and Thurles and all the coaches who made this great day for the club possible. Thanks also to Pete Cunningham for his refereeing and guidance to all the girls.
Youghal/Midleton girls and their coaches was much appreciated – with the amount all the girls learned it’s safe to say everyone came away a winner!
